National Trust Interpretation.

for East Riddlesden Hall.

National Trust properties receive a wide range of guests and so exhibits need to be accessible and enjoyable for all visitors. At East Riddlesden Hall, one of Yorkshire’s oldest properties, they have created a window into the life of an agricultural manor in the 1600s and want their visitors to be immersed in it. I helped them create pieces that deliver historical facts in an engaging way using friendly, conversational and light-hearted copy.

word from the client

“Working with Dave on a number of interpretation projects around our property has been great. He is very cooperative to work with, which has enabled me to try new ways of getting information across to our visitors. Dave takes on feedback about the work he has produced well and has always completed changes to a high standard and quickly. Dave has a creative approach to his work, which is helping when working on developing our kids’ trails – This is an ongoing project and one that he has brought a lot of ideas to the table.“
